Story Walk
StoryWalk® is a fun way for families to enjoy stories and the outdoors together.
We encourage the community to visit the StoryWalk® locations at Emeline Park and Peck’s Pond.
This project was funded by the New York State Department of Health through the Creating Healthy Schools and Communities Grant in collaboration with the Rockland County Department of Health, the Village of Haverstraw and the Haverstraw King’s Daughters Public Library
The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson and developed in partnership with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library in Montpelier Vermont. Storywalk® is a registered service mark owned by the Kellogg-Hubbard Library.

March Book Madness!
What is your favorite book?
Participate by completing a ballot each week to vote for your favorite books. All participants will be automatically entered into a drawing to receive a $10 gift card.
Follow the voting results on our window display in the children’s room.
Be sure to stop by each Friday in March to fill out a new ballot as the book competition narrows down from 16 to one eventual Book Madness Champion!
