Elevator RFP Instructions

Please read and follow submittal instructions as this bid encompasses various locations to be bid together and includes unique submittal requirements for each location.
On behalf of the Haverstraw King’s Daughters Public Library, Greg DeCola of VD Associates is publishing the bid specification documents for the modernization of seven (7) hydraulic passenger elevators at five (5) various library locations in Rockland County, NY:

Haverstraw King’s Daughters Public Library, 10 West Ramapo Road, Garnerville, NY
New City Free Library, 220 North Main Street, New City, NY
Nyack Library, 59 South Broadway, Nyack, NY
Tappan Free Library, 93 Main Street, Tappan, NY
West Nyack Free Library, 65 Strawtown Road, West Nyack, NY

Please note: You must contact the individuals listed on the first page of each of the linked RFPs to schedule appointments to survey the elevators and associated equipment at the five (5) individual locations in Rockland County, NY.

Hard copy sealed bid proposals are due by 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 30, 2026 as per instructions in the linked RFP.

The RFP and Owners Form of Maintenance Agreement are in MS Word format, with auto-fill fields, which allows you to type directly into the documents where necessary.
