The Annual Library District Vote and Trustee Election for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026 will be held at both library locations on Thursday, June 4 from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Public Information Sessions are scheduled for Monday, May 11 at 7:00 PM at the Village Branch Community Room and on Tuesday, May 12 at 7:00 PM in the Main Library Community Room.

Two trustee seats are up for election. Incumbent trustee Eileen Bookman is running for a 5-year term and incumbent trustee Ljiliana Jelic-Cumento is running for 4-year term. Completed Petitions for Trustee must be submitted to Tommy Russo, Clerk to the Board, by 4:00 PM on May 5, 2026.

To be eligible to vote, one must be a citizen of the United States, a resident of the district for 30 days prior to the Vote, be registered by May 10, 2026 and be 18 years of age or older as of the date of the Vote. Individuals may register to vote through the Rockland County Board of Elections.
