Teen Volunteering at the Library

Do you need community service hours? HKDPL can help! Sign up to volunteer at the library and help with programs, collection development, and other various tasks. Volunteers that live within the North Rockland Central School District will take priority over those who do not.

Note: You must make an appointment to volunteer, and filling out the form does not always guarantee an appointment due to limited opportunities each day. Please do not use your school email when filling out the form, we may not be able to respond to you if you do.

Submit a Book Review

Earn two (2) hours of community service for each review submitted (a maximum of 4 per month). Once approved, you will receive a service letter via email. Books reviewed must be written for YA or higher.  AI is not allowed and will result in a denial of the community service hours.

Please do not use your school email when submitting your review, we may not be able to email your letter if you do.
